New Castle (KDKA) - Police in New Castle are investigating after a young woman was gunned down inside of a house.
Police say 19-year-old Kayla Jones was shot in the chest on Chestnut Street Wednesday night.
Jones was taken to Jameson Memorial Hospital where she later died.
New Castle police arrested 18-year-old Lee A. Campbell III and charged him with criminal homicide.
He was arraigned this morning and taken to the Lawrence County Jail.
Campbell is being held without bond.
